Newitts Centurion 7's Ready for 2012 Season

Formed in 2011, the Newitts Centurions had a successful first season on the UK Sevens circuit. In the opening tournament, the Newitts Centurions made the Cup semi-finals at the Manchester Sevens. The team then went onto a 14 match unbeaten run; winning the West Country Plate Final and finishing the season in impressive style by winning the Newquay Surf Sevens Cup Final.
This year a Partnership has been set up between National League 3 North run away winners Darlington Mowden Park and the Centurions.
“With the addition of Mowden Park, we hope to achieve greater success on the circuit in the 2012 season and beyond” said Centurions player Tom Newitt
With 8 competitions entered including Amsterdam & the UK Rugby Rocks series the team hope to bring home some silverware to add to last years haul.
